Months passed without knowing

Wow, it has been a while since my last login into this blog. I am too bz with work and school that I couldn't spend time to update my blog. Here are some pictures to enjoy:

Teda tried out for her singing career...heheheheh
She's a good singer though.

These are a group of friends that I met online and they happened to live close by me too. What a small world!

Khmer Music Artist: Meas Sok Sophea

Lately, I've been listening to her songs and love every one of it. What a contrast to my taste! You know this is new to me. I'm a classical type of guy who would never listened to any contemporary musics unless I don't have a choice. I would prefer to listen to news instead. However, since I was introduced to Sophea's musics, I am hooked. Dang, couldn't believe this happened to me. I think I am moving forward to a new trend now. What a shame! Guest what, she is cute too. See the pic below if you don't believe. Oh, the two girls there are my friend, Romdoul and Mealea. Meas Sok Sophea is in the middle.

She performed in Long Beach, California this year.
I missed her show :(

Khmer New Year Brought a Long Lost Daughter Back

After 17 years I finally saw my daugther for the first time. We were at the park to celebrate Khmer new year this morning and met her there by accident. Fortunate enough, she unknowingly approached to where we were standing. Immediately, my relatives were the first one to recognize her and her grandma. I was in shock and so surprise after my sister (cousine) called my mom and started to introduce the little girl. Then my daughter turned to me, I couldn't utter a word. While my mom and some relatives were hugging and holding her, I played it cool. I waited until the dust settled then approached my daughter. We silently introduced ourselves. From the look on her face, I could tell that she was extremely nervous and excited at the same time as I too was overjoyed and almost let my emotion stands in the way. She is a very pretty girl and very Khmer, no doubt about that. Oh what a joyful day for all of us! I never thought that I will be able to know or even see her again. I remembered, the first time that I saw her when she was a tiny baby. Now at 17 years old, she grown up to be a beautiful lady. She is tall and has that cute lips like her daddy..hehehehehe. What a surprise!!!
Here is my baby girl picture...

New Year Pictures

These pictures were taken during my trip to Wat Thai temple on April 15, 2007. The place was packed with mixed crowd from various backgrounds. People coming to the temple for foods and entertainment. I and my family had a blast! We ate some wonderful tasty foods and generally enjoyed the scene. We are looking forward for the next year. Happy new year everyone.

The Thai's letter says Wat Thai Of Los Angeles..hehehheeh..hahahahaah

Look at those Thai ladies, aren't they cute? However, one thing for sure that I don't like about the girls are their custom uniforms. It me it seems flat and lame and not as cute as our Cambodian's tradition custom dresses.

She is the cutest one of all the girls. I think she is a hybride crossed between Asian and White European.

Pick one. which one is this lady do you think is the one you would date?

Yummy..hmmmm...oh boy I love sweet!

And more foods.....

Amazing how Thai architecture looks similar to Cambodian.

This guy is hilarious :)

My boys and his mommy looking around and enjoyed themselves.

This status symbolized a buddish ancient myth called Yaksa guarding the temple from the evil spirit.
